Every hour on the right job.

Crews clock in from their phone against the job and the activity, even with no signal. By Friday the hours are approved, job-costed, and ready for payroll.

What it does

From clock-in to payroll.

Capture time where the work happens, approve it once, and export it without retyping.

  • Clock in and out by job and activity code
  • Works with no signal, syncs when it reconnects
  • Crew Clock: a lead clocks in the whole crew by QR badge
  • Job-site kiosk for temp and agency labor without a login
  • Clocked In Now and Team Time views for managers
  • Weekly approvals and pay periods with overtime calculated
  • Payroll CSV export, plus PDF and CSV reports
Capabilities

Inside time tracking.

Built for crews that move between jobs all day and for losses big enough to bring in temp labor.

In the field

Every hour on the right job.

Techs clock in from their phone against a job and an activity code, as it happens, not from memory on Friday. Switching jobs mid-day is one tap. No signal in the basement? The clock keeps running and the entry syncs when the phone reconnects.

  • Job plus activity code on every entry
  • Switch jobs without clocking out
  • Offline-first: nothing lost in a dead zone
Connects to JobsWhere each hour's labor cost lands.
Crews and temp labor

One phone, the whole crew.

A crew lead scans QR badges to clock in everyone on the truck. On big losses, a job-site kiosk lets each worker tap their name to clock in or out, including temp and agency labor who never get a Relay login. The kiosk checks the device is at the job site before it allows a clock-in.

  • QR badges for fast crew clock-in
  • Kiosk mode for a shared site device
  • Temp workers job-costed without a login
Connects to Time & MaterialsApproved crew hours become T&M labor lines.
Built for restoration

Restoration labor isn't a 9-to-5 timesheet.

Why a generic time clock app falls short on restoration jobs.

  • Timesheets from memory make costing a guess

When hours get written down at the end of the week, labor never lands on the right job. Relay ties every hour to a job and activity the moment the crew clocks in.

  • Storm deploys bring people without logins

Temp and agency labor can be clocked by a supervisor or at the site kiosk, approved like employees, and kept out of your payroll export.

  • Overtime shouldn't surprise you on payday

Pay periods roll hours up and calculate weekly overtime, so you see it while you can still do something about it.

  • Pay rates stay private

Rates live in the system with permissions, not in a shared spreadsheet anyone can open.

Connected to jobs and billing.

Hours land on the job, and on T&M jobs they become billable labor.

Time Tracking FAQ

Questions about time tracking.

More on the FAQ page.

Does it work without cell service?

Yes. Clock-ins and clock-outs are saved on the device and sync when it reconnects, so a dead zone never loses an hour.

Can a crew lead clock in the whole crew?

Yes. Crew Clock lets a lead clock in everyone by scanning QR badges, and a job-site kiosk lets each worker tap their name on a shared device.

What about temp or agency labor?

Temp workers can be added without a Relay login. They are clocked by a supervisor or at the kiosk, approved and job-costed like employees, and left out of the payroll export.

Does it calculate overtime?

Yes. Pay periods roll up approved hours and calculate weekly overtime.

How do hours get to payroll?

Managers approve the week, and approved hours export as a payroll CSV. PDF and CSV reports cover hours by person, job, and activity.
